Our pantry serves over 200 families each month, and has distributes approximately 75,000 lbs. of food each year. Colors of the Earth: Colores helps community members to understand the relationship between our environment and health, and provides opportunities for learning about organic gardening, aquaculture, and vermiculture. Kidcare and CEDA: Health Promoters are on hand to assist the community with applications for Kidcare and utilities assistance. home |

Health Promoters touch individuals and families in their homes with AIDS prevention education, with condoms, with ideas for reducing risk, and by giving referrals for service. They also present this important information at community forums, workshops, health fairs, and other events. Advanced, experienced Health Promoters build community capacity by training new Health Promoters in AIDS prevention, with new groups each year onsite and at other community organizations home |

The Multipliers Program is the basis for all our efforts to train and mobilize Community Health Promoters. The Program oversees all basic, intermediate, and advanced level training. Multipliers includes courses such as our 15-week Basic Health Promoter Training, as well as the following intermediate and advanced courses: Environmental Health, Personal Empowerment and Self-Development, "Your Heart, Your Life," Proyecto Girasol Course (domestic violence awareness and intervention). These courses are offered at different times during the year on-site, and some are repeated off-site with collaborating institutions. home |
